This is our first Classroom Scarecrow Contest sponsored by the Autauga County Fair Organization, Prattville City Counsel and Autauga County Commissioners, _______________. The contest is open to all elementary schools (public and private) in Autauga and Elmore Counties. Other counties are invited to participate.

This is a classroom competition only for grades, Kindergarten through 5th Grade. The divisions will be divided into two categories: Kindergarten through 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade through 5th Grade.

JUDGING WILL BE SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2015. AWARDS WILL BE ANNOUNCED TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13, 2015. PLEASE CHECK THE WEBSITE OR CONTACT FAIR OFFICE FOR WINNERS.

"T" Post Frames
After registration is completed, a representative for the classroom or school will need to come pick up the "T" frames on Monday, October 12 or Tuesday, October 13th between the hours of 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. They need to be delivered to the North Gate entrance. There will be a table set up to received the entries at the North Gate entrance.

Delivering Information
Deliver scarecrow to fairgrounds on Friday, October 9th or Saturday, October 10th from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. They need to be delivered to the Arts and Crafts Building at the Fairgrounds at Mac Gray Park, Prattville, AL. An exhibitor's tag will be issued to a scarecrow once it's delivered on the grounds. The representative delivers the scarecrows will receive a claim check portion for removal after the competition. Without claim check stub, the materials will not be returned to the owner. Please indicate if you would like to pick up your materials creating the scarecrow or you want to have it discarded.
