effect. We understand and agree that any exhibitor, parent or guardian who commits, attempts to
commit, or participates in the commission of any act or omission which gives an animal or
exhibitor an unfair advantage over another animal or exhibitor, which endangers persons or
animals, and/or which violates any terms, conditions, rules, regulations, requirements, ethics, or
policies of the Autauga County Fair may result in an animal, exhibitor, parent or guardian being
disqualified or declared ineligible, being banned from participating in future shows or events
and/or being forbidden from entering or remaining on the premises. Potential criminal violations
may be referred to an appropriate law enforcement agency. We further understand and agree that
if in the sole discretion of the show superintendent that if substantial evidence exists that an
animal has been tampered with, that animal may be declared ineligible.

security while at a Livestock Show.

Swine Show Rules
●Open Junior Swine Show is open only to Alabama residents who are no older than 18 on
the day of show.
●All swine must be on the fairgrounds and checked in by 10:00 AM.
●Check-In/Weigh-In will be from 9:00 AM– 10:00 AM. Show will begin promptly at
10:30 AM.
●Showmanship will consist of four age groups, PreClub (8 and under) Junior (9-11),
Intermediate (13-15) and Senior (16-18). Exhibitors may use either a market steer or a
heifer for showmanship.
●Market swine will be classed as equally as possible after weigh-in. Every effort will be
made to keep market classes as competitive as possible.
●Gilt classes will be divided into their respective breed divisions, given a minimum of 3
animals of the same breed are registered to show. All registered gilts whose respective
breed division does not “make” will show in the AOB Division.
●Crossbred or otherwise unregistered gilts will show in the Crossbred division and will be
sorted by weight.
