Division: 2903 Open Junior Beef Cattle Show Rules
Saturday
3:00 PM

• Open Junior Beef Cattle Show is open only to Alabama residents who are at least 9 years old.
• All cattle must be on the Fair Grounds by 2:00 PM.
• Check-In/Weigh-In will be from 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM.
• Showmanship will consist of two age groups, Jr. (9-13), and Sr. (14 and over). Exhibitors may use either a Feeder Steer or a Heifer for showmanship.
• Feeder Steers will be classed as equally as possible after Weigh-In.
• Heifer Classes will be divided into the following Divisions: Brangus/Brangus Influence, Continental/Continental Influence, English/English Influence and Texas Longhorn/Texas Longhorn Influence.
• Texas Longhorn heifers will be judged based on standard beef cattle criteria.
• Please read Livestock General Rules for registration, parking and admission to livestock area.
• Entry Fee:  $10 per entry
